As a nonprofit, Greccio Housing is always extremely grateful for every donation we get, big and small. For financial donations, we ask that you click the button below. It will take you a site called Give Lively. From there you can easily donate any amount you choose, dedicate that donation if you'd like, and receive a receipt that you can keep for your records.

Colorado Gives Day

Community First Foundation and FirstBank present Colorado Gives Day, an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy through online giving. During this 24-hour movement The Community First Foundation and FirstBank provides a $1 Million Incentive Fund. Donations can be scheduled starting November 1st. INVEST IN GRECCIO HOUSING, SAVE ON YOUR TAXES, AND MULTIPLY THE IMPACT OF YOUR DONATION

 

Greccio Housing is part of the El Paso Country Enterprise Zone. This allows you to support our Affordable Housing Preservation Initiative to maximize the impact of your contribution: a 25% state tax credit above and beyond the existing charitable tax deductions through the State of Colorado and the federal government. This form of giving multiples the value of the donation for our residents, our organization, and the individual donor. See example of a sample gift below:

Donations for this tax credit must be a minimum of $250, in the form of a check, made payable to “El Paso County Enterprise Zone” with Greccio Housing and the last four digits of your social security number in the memo line. Send your check to: Greccio Housing, 1015 E Pikes Peak Ave, Ste 110, Colorado Springs, CO  80903. A tax receipt will be mailed to you in 30-60 days from the El Paso County Economic Development office.

 

Each December, donors can make donations to the Enterprise Zone by credit card when made online via the annual Colorado Gives Day campaign.

 

Donations made to the Enterprise Zone will support Greccio Housing’s Affordable Housing Preservation Initiative. In 2020, Greccio completed a Capital Needs Assessment for all of our existing properties. These recommendations form the basis for a multi-year effort to preserve and upgrade our critical housing inventory. They include HVAC/Boiler/Water Heater repairs, roofing and gutter replacements, upgrades to kitchen cabinets and countertops, asphalt repairs and resurfacing, exterior painting or stucco and siding repairs, carpentry or electrical work, and ADA or safety upgrades. By preserving Greccio properties, we are helping to stabilize our affordable housing inventory, adding value to the surrounding neighborhoods, generating demand for additional products and services, and creating more jobs in our community.
